It’s no secret Red Hot Chili Peppers are sports fans, but the Los Angeles band went way above and beyond their normal home town support.
The Chilis hired an aerial advertising company to tow a banner over the Rams’ temporary home Saturday. Sky Ads tugged a message over the Coliseum Saturday that read “Red Hot Chili Peppers Welcome The Rams Back to LA.”

Back in January, Flea celebrated the team’s announcement of their return to the City of Angels shouting over Twitter, “RAMS YES RAMS YESSS!!!!!!!! THE TEAM OF MY CHILDHOOD IN MY CITY GO RAMS! HOORAY RAMS YIPPEE GO RAMS!!!!!!!!!!!…..boo chargers..”
The team left LA for St. Louis after the end of the 1994 season.
